The Kerem Tunnel is a great place to ride and hike.
The Kerem Tunnel, the first cycle tunnel in Israel was opened as part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycling route that surrounds Jerusalem, Israel's capital city.
It links Nahal Refaim to Emek Motza. Its southern entrance is within Refaim Park under Ein Laban. The northern entry, Nahal Ein Kerem, is about half a kilometer away from the Kerem junction.

Around NIS 25 million was put into in the project, financed by Elkin's ministry as well as the Tourism Ministry, the Jerusalem Municipality and the Gihon Corporation and the Jerusalem Purification and Sewerage Works, as well as the work done by the Jerusalem Development Authority.
Elkin stated, "The Kerem Tunnel project will be the central tool for realizing our vision to change the notion of transportation in Jerusalem."
