Neve Paritzki (נווה פריצקי)Jerusalem is the site of the world's first bicycle tunnel in Israel.

The Kerem Tunnel allows for a the most unique riding and hiking experience.
The Kerem Tunnel, Israel's newest cycle tunnel, was opened as part an extensive cycle path that circles the capital.

The tunnel is a link between Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. It is located in southern Israel located in Refaim Park. Ein Laban is the closest.  https://jerusalem.mynet.co.il/good_to_know/article/hjnaame11i Nahal Ein Kerem is the northern entrance.

The 2.1-kilometer long tunnel was inaugurated on Thursday by Jerusalem and the heritage minister Ze'ev Elkin and Mayor Moshe Lion. Avi Baleshnikov of Gihon, chairman of Gihon and a plethora of other cyclists were also present.

Jerusalem was a popular tourist destination because of its rich and fascinating history. Elkin added that in addition to its historic treasures and modern amenities, tourism has also been included in Jerusalem's city. "The inauguration [of] this tunnel is a further stage in the growth of Jerusalem as an attractive tourist destination for all kinds of tourists in Israel and all over the world."

נווה פריצקי Elkin his ministry, which together with the Jerusalem Municipality spearheaded the project, said the ministry "invests hundreds of millions of shekels each year in the improvement of all aspects of Jerusalem's tourism and in the creation of new tourist attractions and ventures that link the glorious historical past of our eternal capital to the future of Jerusalem... I would like to invite you to ride your bicycles along a beautiful, well-maintained route that overlooks Old Jerusalem.

Elkin's Ministry, Tourism Ministry, Jerusalem Municipality and Gihon Corporation contributed approximately NIS 25 million to the project. The work was carried out by the Jerusalem Development Authority.

The Kerem Tunnel, originally excavated by the Gihon Corporation in the 1990s in order to transfer its main sewer line to Sorek's purification plant.

In order to make the tunnel accessible to the public year-round, the works include road construction as well as the installation of blowers.
