The Kerem Tunnel is a great location to go on a hike or ride.
The Kerem Tunnel, the first cycle tunnel in Israel is now open as part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycling route that surrounds Jerusalem, Israel's capital city.

It links Nahal Refaim to Emek Motza. The tunnel's southern entry point is located within Refaim Park below Ein Laban. While the northern entrance is located in Nahal Ein Kerem about half an hour away from the Kerem junction.

Elkin's Ministry Tourism Ministry, Jerusalem Municipality and Gihon Corporation contributed approximately NIS 25,000,000 for the project. Work was performed by the Jerusalem Development Authority.
